The Combined Brown Cases

The Supreme Court Case, Brown V. Board of Education of Topeka, was actually five different cases from five different communities that were all appealed to the Supreme Court when they failed in the lower courts. In all five of the cases, the African American plaintiffs had demanded better educational services for their children. The Supreme Court had decided to compile all the five cases under one single case under the name of one of the cases in the group. This case would lead to the ban of segregation in public schools, and would eventually lead to the obstruction of all segregation in America, changing society forever.
