The enforcement of the Brown Decision was delayed and soon was ignored by the segregationists outside the courtroom. A few small riots in Alabama that went against segregated public transportation encouraged a wave of integrationists to do the same. Though many schools refused to integrate, a number of schools in the South desegregated without any problems. White segregationists resisted the Brown decision violently, sometimes the violent instances required federal interference. The NAACP's strategy to end segregation in public schools, had transformed into a movement to end all legal racism in the nation. The Brown V.
